Powerful, Complete Solution
Our MailFoundry Spam Firewall is compatible with all email accounts, and can be
used by small organizations with as few as 10 employees and large organizations
with as many as 200,000 employees.
How it works?
MailFoundry's MessageIQ scan engine uses a layered approach that maximizes kill
rates and minimizes false positives. The core layer for threat
identification are the spam signature files. Those spam signatures are created
and managed by human spam editors who look at spam 24x7x365, and new spam
updates are released every 5 minutes to ensure that we have the latest rule sets
to defeat spam attacks as they happen. Because the signatures are designed
around actual identified spam, the system isn't guessing at identifying incoming
email, thus the false positives are the lowest in the industry. Period.

Browser Based Interface
A browser based interface is included in the package for domain
administrators to change per domain and per user configuration.
Virus Scanning
All messages are automatically scanned for viruses. A message that contains a
detected virus is always blocked.
Spam Scanning
All messages are automatically scanned for spam. Each email message is
first checked to see if it is on an external email blacklist. If the email
is found to be on a blacklist, the email is rejected. If it is not on a
blacklist, is it checked for spam using up-to-date spam definitions. If
the email is determined to be spam, it will be put into the users quarantine.
User Quarantine
An email will be sent out daily to every email address that has email in
their quarantine. The user will be able to click on a link to view each
message. From there, the user will be able to deliver or delete the
specific message. Emails will remain in the users quarantine for up to 30
days. After 30 days, these messages will automatically be deleted from the
system. MailFoundry is very effective at killing spam, but the real
benefit is in the false positive rates. It leads the industry with a false
positive rate of less than 1 in 1 million, so most users may not even need to
check their quarantine.
